Spicy Pork Stir-Fry with Jasmine Rice: A Sizzling and Flavorful Delight


A flavorful and aromatic stir-fry dish that combines tender pork with a hint of sweetness and a kick of heat. Serve over fragrant jasmine rice for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of thinly sliced pork
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 cup of jasmine rice
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup of sliced onions
  • Pinch of salt
  • Squeeze of lime juice

Steps


Step 1: Marinate the pork: In a bowl, combine 1 pound of thinly sliced pork with 
2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. 
Let it marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Cook the rice: Prepare 1 cup of jasmine rice according to package instructions.

Step 3: Stir-fry the pork: Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes, or until cooked through and 
slightly caramelized.

Step 4: Add the vegetables: Add 1 cup of sliced bell peppers and 1 cup of sliced onions to 
the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are slightly tender.

Step 5: Season and serve: Sprinkle the stir-fry with a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime juice. 
Serve hot over the cooked jasmine rice.
