Protein-Packed Kadai Paneer: A Delectable and Nutrient-Rich Dish
A delicious and nutritious north Indian dish that is rich in protein and potassium.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of ghee
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1 finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
- 2 finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 200 grams of paneer cubes
- 1/2 cup of water
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Steps
Step 2: Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Step 3: Add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 finely chopped green bell pepper, and 1 finely
chopped red bell pepper. Saute until the onions turn translucent.
Step 4: Add 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Step 5: Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon
of turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala,
and salt to taste. Mix well and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
Step 6: Add 200 grams of paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes until the paneer cubes are
well coated with the masala.
Step 7: Add 1/2 cup of water and let the curry simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Step 8: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
