Cheesy Chicken and Potato Bake Recipe - A Comforting and Delicious Dish


Ingredients:


- 1 small onion, sliced

- Olive oil

- 2 medium potatoes, sliced

- 1 teaspoon salt

- Black pepper, to taste

- 750 grams chicken breast, sliced

- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

- Black pepper, to taste

- Red chili, to taste

- 2 eggs

- 1 pack of table cream

- 1 pinch of salt

- 1 pinch of curry powder

- 1/2 teaspoon chimichurri

- 150 grams shredded mozzarella cheese

- Tomatoes for topping


Instructions:


1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).


2. In a baking tray, start by sautéing the small onion in a generous drizzle of olive oil until they become translucent.


3. Add the sliced potatoes to the onions. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt and a generous pinch of black pepper. Drizzle with more olive oil.


4. In a separate bowl, season the chicken breast with 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, black pepper, and red chili to taste.


5. Transfer the seasoned chicken to the baking tray with the potatoes and onions.


6. In a medium bowl, beat 2 eggs, then add the table cream, a pinch of salt, curry powder, and chimichurri. Mix well.


7. Pour the egg and cream mixture evenly over the chicken and potatoes.


8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.


9. Place tomato slices over the cheese.


10. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden and bubbly.
